Miss Hanakoi is a beautiful woman who only has eyes for the color red and her beloved roses. A male companion and frequent guest of her garden parties finds this all very unsettling, and begins to realize there might be more to his fellow guests than he originally imagined.

And for those of you who share my very niche fetish appreciation for plant trivia, here’s another fact to keep things fair between the boys’ post:

The ‘Juliet’ rose is known to be one of the most expensive roses ever sold. This slightly ombré, peach-colored flower has a sweet tea-scent, and clustered petals inside a full cup-shaped bloom. It debuted in 2006 after taking taking its breeder 15 years to develop, and sold for a cool $3 million.
