– Translators [TL] (Open)

Japanese to English. No experience necessary.

Role: Provide translations and check the script once it’s been proofread.

A few test pages will be provided for those who are new.

– Typesetters / SFX artists [TS / SFX] (Open)

Must have Photoshop. Fonts will be provided. Must be willing to TS Sound Effects. You can choose to ONLY do SFX if you’d prefer (so no normal bubbles, etc.) and this can go pretty quick.

Role: Apply sound effects and text to cleaned manga pages.

A couple test pages will be provided for those who are new.

– Cleaners / Redrawers [CL / RD] (Open)

Photoshop preferred, but anything that saves .PSDs (or .TIFFs) should be fine.

Role: Erase original Japanese text from raw manga pages, and seamlessly redraw the bits that need it. This role could also encompass cleaning up (cropping/orienting, etc) pages that have been hand-scanned.

A couple test pages will be provided for those who are new.

– Proofreaders [PR] (Open)

Japanese & English.
Previous experience and English as a native language required for the English position.

English Role: Rephrase translations for better flow and word-bubble size. Quality check entire final chapter for typos, etc. before release.

Japanese Role: Double check translation (and PR edit) for accuracy and original intent.

– Raw Providers (Open)

French or Japanese.

Role: Provide scans of raw chapters so that they may be translated.

We will consider new projects so long as we are provided (or able to source) raws.
